Ostomy Care: The Right Stuff
The purpose of this program is to enable the direct patient care LPN to RN to correct, maintain and/or prevent ostomy pouching problems by applying the principles of right size, right fit, right barrier and right pouch.

Following this presentation, the participant will be able to:
Identify the correct size for a round and oval stoma to fit the base of the stoma.
Determine the correct barrier type and style when creases are present in the peristomal skin.
Differentiate between a drainable, closed end, high output and spouted pouch.

This content is delivered in a recorded webinar and consists of handouts and test questions. The participant must complete all learning activities including an assessment quiz with a passing score of 80% and the course evaluation. Following completion of these materials, the participant is able to print the certificate of completion.
