FISTULA BASICS: Managing the Enterocutaneous Fistula
The purpose of this presentation is provide the nurse generalist information regarding basic enterocutaneous fistula care and management.

Following this presentation, the learner will be able to:
Discuss 4 goals in fistula care.
Identify categories of products and indications for use in fistula care.
Describe two methods of pouching an enterocutaneous fistula.

This content is delivered as an enduring material activity which is provider-directed, learner-paced and consists of handouts and test questions. To receive contact hours, the participant must complete all learning activities including the entire online program, an assessment quiz with a passing score of 80% and the course evaluation. Following completion of these materials, the participant is able to print the certificate of completion.
