COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This rapid wound review course is intended to assess the participant’s gaps in knowledge in evidence-based comprehensive wound care as well as to prepare the participant to sit for the WOCNCB Wound Certification Exam. This interactive course reviews wound etiologies, assessments and management of pressure ulcers, venous, arterial, neuropathic, and unique types of wounds and treatment approaches through test sample questions and case study presentations.

PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY:

The purpose of this activity is to assist the participant in identifying and addressing knowledge gaps in evidence-based comprehensive wound care as well as to prepare the participant to sit for the WOCNCB Wound Certification Exam.  This course provides the participant with an individualized appraisal of their gaps in knowledge through review and analysis of sample test questions and case studies along with providing strategies for test taking through various methodologies.
