COURSE DESCRIPTION:

FN525.5: This presentation provides a framework in identifying the individual “at risk” for developing a foot ulcer and creating a sustainable plan for foot care. The four elements of a ‘Comprehensive Patient Assessment’ is explored in detail: health history, focus lower extremity exam, goal setting, and identification of potential or actual barriers in developing a sustainable plan of foot care.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE: 

 

The intended audience for this presentation includes multidisciplinary health care providers (Physicians, APRN’s, P.A.’s, RN, LPN, Medics, PT’s) who are interested in learning more about foot care basics.
