FN525.4: Foot Care Specialist: Structure and Function of the Skin: Implications for Foot Care

PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY:

 

The purpose of this presentation is to increase knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the skin across the life span with emphasis on the foot.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

 

This presentation identifies the layers of skin including soft tissue structures and their functions across the lifespan and the implications of age and comorbid conditions effect on skin health and providing evidence-base lower extremity skin care.
